Meet our team members below:
Dr. Friede Wells
January 26th, 1934- August 17th, 2022
Dr. Friede founded Bryan County Animal Hospital in 1966. Coming from Germany, some had a hard time with her accent, but they soon understood her heart. She spent her whole life caring for people and their pets. She was well known for her compassion and her selflessness. Family was very important to Friede, and every Sunday she cooked amazing meals to pamper them. She was a dedicated mother and veterinarian who touched many lives. She will be missed always by her family, friends, clients, and staff.
Dr. Billy Wells
Dr. Wells joined Bryan County Animal Hospital in 1996. He chose a career in Veterinary medicine to follow in his parents’ footsteps. He enjoys helping the animals. He cherishes the years he was able to practice veterinary medicine alongside his mother and misses her mentorship.
When not at BCAH, Dr. Wells enjoys spending time with his family. Going to the lake, fishing and hunting, and working on his ranch. He keeps busy with multiple pets and farm animals.
Dr. Chuck Holder
Associate Veterinarian, Veterinarian
Dr. Holder has been with Bryan County Animal Hospital since 1992. An OSU graduate, Dr. Holder enjoys helping all animals and serving the community. In his spare time, Dr. Holder likes woodworking and being with his wife and pets; several cats and dogs.
